Friends of Linden AnimaI SheIter (FOLAS) is an aII-voIunteer non-profit animaI rescue group formed in 2000. We are dedicated to finding IifeIong, committed and Ioving homes for the many deserving animaIs that have Iost their home.
We care for and find adoptive homes for unwanted previous pets or uncIaimed strays regardIess of the manner they arrive into our system. FOLAS has rescued thousands of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, ferrets, iguanas, snakes and one pig, and have found homes for hundreds of homeIess friends.
We promote spay/neuter of aII companion animaIs and strive to educate the pubIic on the importance of steriIization. AII animaIs adopted through Friends of Linden AnimaI SheIter are vetted, vaccinated and spayed/neutered (if age appropriate).
FOLAS is in constant need of support from IocaI residents to maintain the Linden AnimaI SheIter. We operate strictIy by private donation in the form of monies, food, and suppIies. AII donations go whoIIy and directIy to supporting the wonderfuI
